WEEK 4: LONG-TERM CHANGE
THE BIGGER PICTURE

Make it stick
This is where everything comes together.
You’ll reflect on your journey, identify what actually worked for you, and turn those actions into long-term habits.
This week is about ownership. Not just completing the challenge, but deciding what you will carry forward in your life.
meet your challenges

Day 22 – Your Biggest Shift
You’ve come a long way since Day 1.
Over the past weeks, you’ve tried new actions, paid more attention to your habits, and made small changes in your daily life.
Now take a moment to look back.
Today’s challenge: share your biggest shift.
What is one habit that changed for you during this challenge?
Maybe you waste less food.
Maybe you avoid plastic more often.
Maybe you think twice before buying something.
There’s no right or wrong answer. What matters is the progress you made.

Day 23 – Before & After
Think back to Day 1.
How were your habits?
How often did you think about waste?
Now compare that to today.
Today’s challenge: share your before & after.
It can be anything:
Your mindset.
Your daily habits.
The amount of waste you produce.
Or even a small change that made a difference.
It doesn’t have to be perfect or dramatic. Even small progress matters.

Day 24 – Waste Myth Busting
There are many things we believe about waste that aren’t always true.
“Recycling fixes everything.”
“Small actions don’t matter.”
“Eco-friendly choices are always expensive.”
Today’s challenge: bust one waste myth.
Share a common belief you’ve heard and explain why it’s not completely true.
Keep it simple. The goal is to inform, not to judge.
When we understand better, we do better.

Day 25 – Your Top 5 Waste Rules
By now, you’ve tried different actions and explored new habits.
But what will you actually keep?
Today’s challenge: create your top 5 waste rules.
These are your personal non-negotiables. Simple rules you want to follow in your daily life.
For example:
Always carry a reusable bag.
Avoid single-use plastics when possible.
Finish food before buying more.
Reuse before throwing away.
Choose refill options when available.
Your rules should be realistic and work for your lifestyle.
Keep them simple. Keep them clear.

Day 26 – Invite 1 Person
You’ve been on this journey for almost a month.
You’ve learned, tried new habits, and seen things differently.
Now it’s time to pass it on.
Today’s challenge: invite one person.
Send this challenge to a friend, a family member, or someone you know.
Tell them why it matters to you and what you’ve learned so far.
It doesn’t have to be a long message. Just something honest.
Change grows when we talk about it.

Day 27 – Your Sustainable Starter Pack
Over the past weeks, you’ve made changes to your daily habits.
Some of those changes probably came with simple tools you now use regularly.
Today’s challenge: show your sustainable starter pack.
Pick 3 reusable items you use in your daily life.
It could be:
A reusable bag.
A water bottle.
A food container.
A cup.
Or anything else you use often.
These small items make a big difference over time.
